Cost: $10 if registered for the Hoo-Ha cross country race on Sunday June 1st.
$20 if registering for Super D only.

Where: Massanutten Western Slope – Keezletown, Virginia.
Directions: From I-81 use exit 247A - Route 33 East, Harrisonburg. Follow Route 33 east five miles to the stop light at Route 620. Take a left on 620 and proceed to Keezletown (2.7 miles). In Keezletown turn right on Route 758 (Mtn Valley Road). Go 1.4 miles to farmhouse, turn right on Happy Valley Road. Proceed 1.5 miles; the entrance to Massanutten’s Western Slope is on right.
*Please note that the cross country course and Super D Course is NOT at the ski lodge, but on the mountain's western slope (the ski slope is eastern) near the quaint metropolis of Keezletown.
Start Time: First rider will go at 5:00pm, followed at 30 second intervals. All riders must be on Kaylors Knob by 4:45 for pre race meeting, no riders will be permitted to ride towards Kaylors Knob past 4:15pm to prevent two way traffic.
Course Description: The course is 5 miles long with a fair amount of pedaling. The first two miles are VERY rocky, technical, tight and twisty and will include several dismounts for most. These first two miles are mostly flat, VERY technical with rocks and tight trees, this portion of the course favors a cross country bike and takes a majority of the overall time. The last three miles of the course is where most of the elevation is lost with extended downhill sections and several pedaling sections mixed in. Length: 5 miles long Elevation loss: 2200 vertical feet Elevation gain: 400 vertical feet
Second Super D Course Added: After much request and interest as well as the field size limit to starting on Kaylor Knob there's now a second Super D course. This course would be 1 mile shorter eliminating the majority of the techincal ridge ride. The start would be at the overlook so there would also NOT be a mandatory 2.5 mile ride in to the start. This course is more friendly to beginner/sport riders and bigger travel bikes (Kaylors is not), and is less technical but still provides the great downhill portion of the event.
Please stay tuned to the forum for changes, updates and give any feedback.
Course Start Location: The course will start on Kaylors Knob with the closest vehicle access 2.5 miles away from the start. You will ride the first two miles of the course to reach the start, please allow at least 45 minutes to get out the ridge. You MUST be on your bike riding from the Massanutten overlook no later then 4:15pm.
Estimated Finish Times: 20-30 minutes.
