Events :: Shenandoah Mountain Bike Festival :: Bike & Parts Swap
Shenandoah Mountain Bike Festival Bike & Parts Swap
Clean out your basement of those old bike parts while making some extra cash and helping raise money for the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition.
For the 5th year in a row the "Festival Bike & Parts Swap" will return to the Stokesville Pavilion October 7-9.
This is a great way to get rid of those extra parts that have been hanging around your basement or garage for years, and also an opportunity to pick up some new gear to take it's place! You never know what treasures you will find that have been sitting unused in someone's garage. You don't need to have something to sell in order to pick up something new (to you), and you don't have to buy anything if you're just looking to unload some old gear.
Obviously a good mix of the buyers and sellers is going to be best, so everone swing on by the gear swap tent and check things out. It'll be right there next to the pavilion, all day Saturday and Sunday, right there and sorta off to the side of the action. Get there early and check often. Once something is gone - it's gone!
Da Rules:
- All items must be labeled with contact info and price.
- A minimum of 25% of sale goes to SVBC. You can donate more. You can donate the total sale if you like.
- Cash is King. No IOU'S please.
- Swap ends at 4pm on Sunday. All payouts happen before 5 pm. Any left gear or cash will go to SVBC. Left gear will be sold on Pro Tested with proceeds going to SVBC.
- Whoever raises the most money for SVBC might get two Duran Duran concert tickets.
