I'm not really sure what happened this year. le Tour Directeur and his post-stage-imbibing minions are usually good for a few, hair raising, ego boosting, often incomprehensible stage reports. One also might have thought that with venerable cyclingnews.com writer, Sue George, riding in the Tour this year that her dispatches would have yielded a fresh perspective into each stage. Alas, from this webmaster's perspective, I got nothing save a few Facebook mentions (thanks Sue Haywood and Chris Scott). If I had to guess the reason for this lapse, I'd say that the high-ninety degree weather took the riders straight to slum-town; leaving them feeble minded and unable to communicate.
That being said, if you really want to know what happens, you should plan on riding le Tour next year. Vive Le Tour!!
