A true century! From the burg, out to Stokesville then a tough timed section through the National Forest and over Confederate Breastworks to finally reach Headwaters, VA. The picturesque tour of HIGHland County only delays the inevitable return trip. A secret climb to reach Reddish from the backside will bring back 100 miler nightmares for many and provide the steps to a breakdown for others. The descent off the mtn leads to a hot sprint line & plenty of cash for someone's coiffeurs.

We will follow the SMT over Bother Knob then down the Sugar Run trail to the Deathstar. After a long hot climb out of West Virginia, the 08 TDB will finish with a roll off Flagpole Knob to Pond Knob and the STEEP descent before a fireroad boogey to the finish in Hone Quarry.
